Do you feel numb inside and yearn to shine?

Do you have something creative you want to create but you are blocked or afraid?

Do you worry that doing what really matters to you will leave you lonely?

It can be different.

There is a way – the Beginner’s Way.

When you have a big vision, the journey from where you are now to where you long to be can be daunting. You judge yourself. The fear that you won’t actually get to the end stops you from taking action before you even start. The voice in your head says you won’t be perfect, so why bother. And the next thing you know, you are in a downward spiral. You feel pulled in one direction, but don’t move towards your goal, and then you beat yourself up for not taking action.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

How do I know?

I have been there and I got out.

I was a sad child and developed into a depressed teenager. My only joy was on stage as an actor, dancer, and singer. When even performing ceased to bring me joy, I attempted suicide. But, from somewhere deep inside me, a commitment to thriving emerged. My journey from despair to delight took me through medication, talk therapy, self-help and personal development, religions, and professional theatre work. Eventually, I discovered a simple formula for embracing and loving myself, creating art worth sharing, and finding joy and meaning in life and work.

I re-awakenened my own creativity, am producing better work than I had dreamed was possible, and am living a joyful life in which all parts of me are invited to shine.

I want that brilliant life for you.

I want to save you all the detours I took and save you the years of hard and painful work I had to go through. In my work as a writer and creativity coach, I use simple and playful techniques to bring ease and joy to work and life for myself and my clients.

Remember your early childhood creativity, when you were happy scribbling, you sang because you wanted to, and you danced whenever you heard music? That childlike play is the key to letting your full self shine, making art without fear, and drawing people to you who will embrace your whole self.

Embracing the ethic of play frees you to create the projects that call to you, express yourself through art or conversation, and transform your life from dreary to delightful without drastic changes.

My free e-book The Beginner’s Way: Using Creative Play to Light Up Your Life lays out how to get started on your journey to a more vibrant life and introduces you to tools you will come back to over and over again.

I am finishing up the revisions now and The Beginner’s Way will be available soon. But, if I were you, I would want to get started now. So, here’s my promise to you. Sign up below to be notified as soon as the book is available and I will periodically send you tips and tools you can use while you are waiting. And, you’ll get an invitation to the online launch party.
